Our Austin office is seeking a LEED project manager. This person can develop tailored solutions to help create high performance buildings, resulting in environmentally responsible development and reduced total cost of ownership. This person must have ability to prepare and deliver oral presentation to individual clients as well as conduct training seminars that communicate clearly and effectively complex ideas. Also will provide key leadership and support on the development of the U.S. green building council’s LEED green building rating system through an integrated approach which aims to maximize LEED achievement for our clients.

Job Requirement:
- Master of Architecture is required
- LEED accredited professional (LEED AP)

Job Skills:
- Energy Modeling that meets standards for LEED NC 2009 EA C1
- Familiar with different LEED ratings LEED-NC, LEED-CS, LEED-CI, LEED-EB, etc
- Expert user of AutoCad, Word, Excel, Power Point. Optional Skills a plus: Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator.

Job Description:

Review drawings prepared by the design team to identify which credits are feasible; review site location,
community services, and local transportation network to see whichever site credits can be achieved; prepare
a preliminary LEED feasibility scorecard with present status assessment and recommendations; conduct
kick-off meetings with all project team members; discuss the feasibility of each credit and see if there are
any design or cost concerns; explain the LEED process to team members; explain each LEED credit’s
requirement and the next steps in achieving that credit, and complete documentation for submission to the
USGBC (United States Green Building Council); mark up drawings with comments/notes/details that need to
be included to reflect LEED credit requirements; perform daylighting calculations for credits and making
recommendations on what needs to be done to get those points; work with building management to develop
policies (green cleaning, integrated pest management etc); compile all documentation and submit this
information to the USBGC for design review; make any changes and/or provide clarifications as requested
by the USBGC; collect all information from the contractor and the design team on credits related to
construction; and any follow-up as required, including making any changes, appealing, or providing
clarifications to the USBGC.
