Project Description
This is a single story community center for seniors and comprises of multipurpose rooms, activity rooms, offices, fitness and game rooms, and other support areas for the center. The project was designed with the goal of achieving LEED silver certification

Services Provided
Green Living, LLC is providing complete LEED construction consulting services to support the General Contractor on the project- Meridian Commercial. This included conducting a LEED pre construction kick-off on site to engage all the various subcontractors in the LEED process and make them aware of their responsibilities; identifying key contractor responsibilities, preparing task lists for the contractor, creating a  toolkit of forms and templates for the contractor, developing the construction waste management and indoor air quality management plans among other things. Green Living’s role is to ensure that the General Contractor is able to meet all the construction related LEED requirements, keep track of their documentation and compile it for submission to the USGBC.

Results
The project achieved LEED Silver certification in May of 2011.
