Project Description
A student housing project, Collwood Apartments is a 264 unit, 4 story building with a gross footage of 460,000 square feet on a site area of seven acres. About 30% of the units will be powered by PV panels that will be installed on the roof. The initial goal was LEED Silver rating. The project achieved LEED Gold Certification in January 2011.

Services Provided
LEED Design Consulting, project administration and management services as well as Fundamental and Enhanced building commissioning. The services include conducting design charrettes; providing design recommendations; defining LEED-related specifications; performing daylighting analyses and supporting the design team in the documentation for the LEED submittal process. Green Living, LLC ensured that all LEED requirements are successfully integrated in the design process and implemented during the construction.
