Ashton at Rice Village is sited about four miles southwest of downtown Houston in Rice Village, a popular historic shopping destination located between the West University Place and South Hampton neighborhoods. With a property area of approximately 4.5 acres, the project includes a five-story building and six-story above-grade parking garage that provides 753 parking spaces for building users.  The gross building area is 734,030 square feet which includes units, leasing office, clubhouse, retail, and restaurant space. The site is located within walking distance of many basic services and amenities, encouraging residents to walk or ride bicycles to access these services. Heat island effects are minimized through the use of high-SRI roofing materials and by locating the majority of parking in a covered garage. Project has Achieved LEED Silver Certification.

Services provided also include conducting design charrettes, providing design recommendations, defining LEED-related specifications, performing daylighting analyses, and supporting the design team in the documentation for the LEED submittal process. Green Living, LLC ensured that all LEED requirements were successfully integrated in the design process and implemented during construction.
