Ashton at Tyson’s Corner is a new 22-story residential apartment building with a building area of 516,666 square feet in Fairfax, Virginia, and includes a leasing office, clubhouse, and fitness center. The project is located within a half-mile radius of many basic services and amenities and provides covered bicycle parking to reduce reliance on automobiles. All living units are naturally ventilated through operable doors and windows. Lighting and temperature controls are located in commons spaces as well as individual residential units in order to allow residents to determine their own comfort levels. Project has Achieved LEED Silver Certification.
